Ah-ha! I’ve gotten to the bottom of the mysterious partnership mentioned in my post earlier this morning. “Great Ormond Street Hospital has been closely linked with Peter Pan ever since its author, JM Barrie, generously gifted the rights to his timeless classic to the hospital in 1929.”

Something else I missed earlier… Harrod’s has a special holiday line to support the hospital. if you are across the pond, you can stop by Harrods for the Neverland chest, shown above, with signed copies of Peter Pan and Peter Pan in Scarlet. For the rest of us, pretty Christmas baubles…

The line launches November 6. (Don’t you just love how the English start celebrating Christmas long before our Thanksgiving? Note the opening of Love Actually, 6 weeks before Christmas, with shots of snowy Christmas trees crossing the Thames.)
