FEED Projects is a private company that was featured this past summer as an innovative entrepreneurial organization in Inc. Magazine’s 30 Under 30. Started by Laura Bush and Ellen Gustafson, the organization partners with the United Nation’s voluntarily funded World Food Programme, and puts the proceeds from its bags into a foundation that donates to hunger causes around the world.

I toted one of their bags to NYC this weekend and it fit EVERYTHING (my laptop, my inappropriately large toiletries case, a change of clothes, a pair of heels), didn’t bulge, and still fit comfortably over my shoulder for walking downtown. They’ve got bags for everyone on your list – the minimalist, the world traveller, the Haiti supporter, the lover of all things local, the teacher or reader, and the trend-savvy ikat fan. View the collection, and order some up for the holidays!

Stay tuned for more on FEED Projects. They’ve got a couple things up their sleeve.
