A Model Night

Today’s post is a shout out to the world of fashion. Last night Neiman Marcus hosted the most incredible event for the clients and friends of the law firm where I work, generating many donations to Dress for Success. I was blown away by the kindness and professionalism of the ladies at Neiman, as well as the other sponsors.

Kent Cheung from Jacques Amar Coiffure did the most simple and fun hair. And Bobbi Brown generously did makeup for all of the models and speakers.

The models were so kind and matter-of-fact and encouraging. I have a whole new appreciation for their profession.

Pictures to come, but in the meantime, please think about supporting one of Neiman Marcus' charity beneficiaries through a gift for yourself or another. Here's one from Fashion's Night Out in New York in September that sends 40% of proceeds to the NYC Aids Fund.

A t-shirt and jeans… nothing better for the weekend ahead! We’re off to watch my cousin be the coxswain for the Dartmouth men in the Foot of the Charles, tailgate at Harvard-Yale with Blue (yes, they actually welcome all of us non-Ivy Leaguers!), and throw a birthday party for John’s sister. By Sunday I think I’ll be jonesing for a refreshing little hike. Favorite t-shirts here I come.
