Jax and Bones to the Rescue

wreathging

On Saturday the owners of our favorite pet store, Bark Place, had a neighborhood holiday party. We came away with mulled cider, Christmas cookies, a little chew toy for Blue – the wreath, above. Only when I got home did I discover that it was a gift that gives back. (Yes, I buy plenty of things that don’t give back too, but I’m working on it!) With its line of rope toys, which are fantastic for distracting puppies from your shoes or the bottoms of your couches, and great for teething animals if you dip the toys in water and then in the freezer, Jax and Bones donates a portion (amount, tbd) to The Rescue Train, a nonprofit that is dedicated to saving the lives of animals.

Pick up one for the Christmas stocking of your pup or the pet of someone you love. And don’t worry, this present works beyond the holidays too. That little whale is calling to me.

I’m so excited for a visit from my friend Meg tonight, that I can’t resist posting our two favorite animals. The real question is, what is her dog Buster’s favorite?!

P.S. I’ve started to categorize some of the posts for easier searching… stay tuned for more!

    Yay! Love the penguin.
Buster is partial to squirrels, OBvi, but deer as well. He thinks he’s much larger and more carnivorous than he actually is.
