Ring in the New Year

Have a look at Bulgari‘s projects to benefit Save the Children.

The 2009 special edition silver ring that Jessica Biel is wearing above comes in two sizes, for men and women, and generates $60 for Save the Children. The 2010 second edition silver and ceramic ring worn by Vittoria Puccini and Leighton Meester below gives $75, and specifically funds education initiatives, including literacy projects in the U.S., teacher training in Haiti and the Healing and Education through Art (HEART) program.

It sounds like a small donation amount, but Bulgari raised 10 million Euros for STC in 2009 and is one of STC’s strongest corporate partners, along with T.J.Maxx, Ikea, American Idol and Frigidaire (with the help of Jennifer Garner, as you may have noticed on TV), and others.

What a great reason to give with Bulgari in the New Year. Besides, how can you resist these guys?

Or, more importantly, these?

(Sorry for the donation pleas… these were the only photos I could find, but I really like the soccer ball idea.)

We’re off to the hinterlands for a winter weekend, sans wireless, but will be back on Tuesday. Here’s to ringing in the New Year with health & happiness!
