Lovetta has an incredible story, is very gracious about all those who help her, and in turn, has been featured by Oprah, CNN and others, and supported by Angelina Jolie, The Dalai Lama and other great humanitarians.
100% of the proceeds from the necklaces go to Strongheart House, where Lovetta lives today after meeting The Strongheart Fellowship Program‘s co-founder in her refugee camp in Ghana, becoming a Strongheart fellow, and helping to create the House for herself and others just like her.
Take a peek at Lovetta’s Strongheart clip, and put her necklaces on the list for a friend’s birthday, child’s birthday, or (dare I say it already…?) Valentine’s Day. I know it’s early, but with “also known as love” + “strong hearts” involved… could these charmers be better suited for February 14th?
A special thanks to Carly Reed, my future sister-in-law and a great humanitarian herself, for introducing me to Akawelle and inspiring me this morning!
