Glimpse of the Future

One of the best things about Boston is what happens on the first warm day after some long and dark winter months. People crawl out of the woodwork and brickwork and swarm the streets with smiles. They are predicting a high of 54 on this February 18th, so it could be pretty chipper out there by lunchtime or happy hour.

While you are are still at work, here are some warm-weather duds for your spring daydreams from the lovely fair trade clothing company Future:Standard, which I discovered on A Cup of Jo recently.

How I would love to sip coffee outside in this sweet peach blouse.

There’s just nothing like a long flowy sundress, especially in navy.

Or a bubble skirt. Navy times two.

How bout a silk mini dress?

And some lighthearted jewels.

I’ve got to get through a lot of work today before having dinner with some great friends who are in town from New York tonight, and heading to see friends in Providence and Narragansett tomorrow. But, it’s Friday, and it’s WARM, weeeee!

Thanks for such a warm (pun intended) review. We’re a little chilly here in our SoCal office but wishing Spring comes soon! Looking forward to being in touch, hope your dinner was great.
