Simply Divine

I love the idea of opening up a little chocolate shop in a small village. Remember that lovely film Chocolat with Johnny Depp? If you ever get to Belgium, go to Bruges and try the little Dumon. I stumbled upon it while wandering around the little streets and canals of Bruges after a work trip to Brussels.

I don’t know much about the origins of Dumon chocloate, but that’s not the case with Divine Chocloate, an elegant chocolatier with a serious commitment to a fair trade model. Their 45,000 Kuapa Kokoo cocoa farmers actually own 45% of the company and share in its profits.

Is it almost Easter? Yum!

P.S. For you teachers out there – check out these lesson plans about fair trade and chocolate.
