Peace Cords for US Troops

I just love love love these! They are Peace Cords, made by Afghan women from parachute cord and recycled US Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force uniform buttons.

100% of the proceeds go to helping US troops deliver grassroots humanitarian assistance in Afghanistan. Thanks go to two collaborating charities, ARZU STUDIO HOPE and Spirit of America, for turning this clever concept into a reality.

And extra thanks to Sharon Buntain, a great friend of my parents and US Brand President for Tissot (maker of my most favorite watch), who recently gave a Peace Cord to my sister.

Cute pic of Sharon.
