Magical Carpets by GoodWeave


Have you ever heard of GoodWeave? I just learned about it. They work to end child labor in the carpet industry by certifying child-labor-free carpets, and providing educational opportunities to rescued and at-risk children. Here are some of their stories.

My favorite local shop, Hudson, is a certified GoodWeave dealer. If I were in the market for a dog or child friendly carpet, I might stop by their big semi-annual sale this weekend and check out their Dash & Albert carpets.

The indoor ones aren’t as washable as one might hope, but the indoor-outdoor ones are like magic.

Sure would love some for our new screened in porch which currently boasts a torn-up wall-to-wall with disintegrating foam under it. Even John is fired up to get rid of that sucker.

GoodWeave certifies ABC Carpet & Home and Madeline Weinrib Atelier as well, both of which I’ve written about before. So, in my dreams, a Weinrib for a living room…
