Thursday Morning Blues

I have been stuck in an airport since 5:30 am on a trip to DC to the Billion+Change launch and to NYC for the Pro Bono Institute’s annual forum and dinner and I realllllly wish I could ditch my suit and stockings and slip into some comfy jeans.

Apparently, Levi’s is now making waterless jeans, as part of partnerships with several nonprofits and an effort to save water by, for example, teaching people to stop washing their jeans and stuff them in the freezer instead.

My question is… if you don’t ever wash them, do they still get so soft? This story was on the front page of nytimes.com yesterday afternoon, so it may be going places…
