Let’s Go to the Movies

We got a chance to see Spielberg’s War Horse last night. It made me like WWI and war in general even less, and admire animals and their patience with people even more.

Speaking of patient animals, one of the previews was for Disneynature’s new Chimpanzee film. The movie partners with the Jane Goodall Institute to offer an educators guide for elementary school students and donate 20 cents per ticket, with a minimum donation of $100,000 to the Institute. It will be hard to miss. The chimps are just so cute.

P.S. Back to WWI – If you are interested in British or European history AND like a good soapy TV series, try Downton Abbey. I watched one with my mom earlier this week and I’m hooked.
